About Us

The "Caledon Riding Club" was Incorporated April 10,1957, for the following objectives:
  • To promote the science and art of equitation generally; 
  • To give instruction and training in horsemanship, care of horses and stable management; 
  • To organize and conduct rides and hunts; 
  • To provide a clubhouse and other facilities for the educational, social and sporting activities of its members.
The Club owns a 99 acre farm with a modern Clubhouse and horse facilities in the Town of Caledon and is host of the longest running combined event inCanada.

The Club has a long relationship with the Eglinton Hunt, who lease part of the Land for their Huntsman and Kennels.

Club property is for members personal use only, No Commercial activity is allowed. New Members with an interest in horsemanship are welcome.

The Club caters to both riders and non-riders.

Riding Events Include:
  • Spring Riding Clinic - 1 day event
  • Caledon Horse Trials - 2 day event
  • Social Rides - approx. 4-5 a year

We support the activities of the Caledon Pony Club which has a number of events for young people to participate in. In addition we have both organized and pick-up social riding.

Non Riding Events:
  • Valentine's Day Dinner
  • St. Patrick's Day Dinner
  • Men's Night – Men get to cook!
  • Pub Night every Wed. - May to September

The Club, set in one of the most beautiful locations in Ontario, is a busy, friendly atmosphere, providing a range of activities where friends are made and good times are had.

Our goal is to have active involved members who:
  1. Organize or assist at a function either riding or social
  2. Organize and oversee a Wednesday dinner
  3. Become a Director
  4. Assist at the spring and fall workdays.

We created the following policy guidelines with a fundamental respect for our users? right to privacy to guide our relationships with our users.

Use of Information:

CRC will not reveal any personal information that users provide to us to any third party without their prior permission.

Using e-mail addresses provided at registration; the CRC periodically sends out e-mail newsletters and promotional e-mail to our users about events, services and information by the CRC for the exclusive use for the members of the CRHC

Upon request, the CRC will remove users (and their information) from our database.

Third parties will not contact our users.
