Cross Country or Stadium Schooling Days 2024

NEW IN 2024

 

The Schooling days are being expanded to allow riders to book use not only of the Eventing course but also to separately sign up for Jumper Schooling sessions in the Grass Ring.
Note: the two sessions Eventing and Jumper have separate fees and are booked independently of each other.

The Caledon Riding Club has been working hard to get the cross country and stadium courses mowed, trimmed and ready for schooling. The Club will be opening to the non-member public on selected dates throughout the summer.

FAQ's:

How much is it? 

$60 per horse for cross-country (HST included) 

$60 per horse for stadium (HST included)

 

What dates/times are you open? 

2024 Dates: May 20, June 27, July 18, August 22, September 15

The course will be available for schooling from sunrise to sunset.  

 

Where do I sign up?

Riders or coaches MUST book times in advance with Jen Thompson

NOTE**The number of riders from different barns will be LIMITED on the course and in the ring at any given time.  Time slots will be reserved on a first come, first PAID basis. 

 

How do I pay? 

E-Transfer in advance ONLY.

How do I submit my liability waiver?  

PRIOR to the schooling day, print off the CRC Liability Waiver at home and submit digital copy (pictures or scans are fine) to Jen Thompson at 705.441.2633 or jenthompson73@hotmail.com

 

Do I need to submit anything else?  

All riders must have OEF membership or proof of liability insurance.  This can also be submitted with the signature page to Jen Thompson (contact info above). 

 

MORE DETAILS

*skinny jumps and corner will have flags 

*there MAY be porta potty access for schooling days

*there is NO on site water access.  Bring your own in jugs

*NO medic, farrier or food provisions on grounds 

*NO dogs

*there will be a CRC member on site to check you in when you arrive.  Please check confirm your attendance with them by the upper patio at the clubhouse before you unload your horses.
